Elephant Mountain Vineyard

elephant-mountain

AVA: Rattlesnake Hills, Washington State

Elephant Mountain Vineyard is situated on a unique site located high on the southern slopes of the Rattlesnake Ridge at the base of Elephant Mountain, near the center of the Rattlesnake Hills appellation within the larger Yakima Valley appellation. The vineyard sits on a series of gentle, southern-facing slopes at elevations up to 1460 ft and the soils consist of a sandy silt loam which lays over a gravelly, calcareous sub surface. The site allows for extended hang time and ideal fruit maturation due to its elevation, slope and southern exposure.

Xander Taryn Vineyard

Chehalem Mtn

AVA: Chehalem Mountains, Willamette Valley, Oregon

The Chehalem Mountains AVA and the Xander Taryn vineyard are capable of producing bold and fruit driven pinot noir wines but with the complexity and finesse expected from Willamette Valley Pinot Noir.  The Xander Taryn vineyard is a 7 acre planted vineyard site containing Laurelwood and Delena soil types located in this highly-respected viticultural area within Oregon’s north Willamette Valley.  The Pinot Noir block sits at an elevation of 602 ft and is planted on a moderate slope allowing for excellent natural air movement and drainage which combined with the relatively high elevation allows for optimal growing and ripening conditions for the grapes.
